5H,6H,7H-Cyclopenta[b]pyridin-2-amine Hydrochloride is a salt analog of 5H,6H,7H-Cyclopenta[b]pyridin-2-amine (CAS# 146331-19-3), which can be useful in comparative pharmacophore modeling and QSAR studies for structural requirements of some substituted 2-aminopyridine derivatives as inhibitors of nitric oxide synthases. 5H,6H,7H-Cyclopenta[b]pyridin-2-amine can also be useful in the preparation, structure-activity relationship study, and pharmacokinetics of pyridazine amides as nonmutagenic spleen tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
