APX2009 is a specific APE1/REF-1 redox inhibitor with anticancer activities which decreases the proliferative, migratory, and invasive properties of breast cancer cell and induces apoptosis in breast cancer cell[1].
Biological Activity
APX2009 is a cell penetrant potent and selective second-generation inhibitor of APE1 redox-signaling th at stimulates APE1 DNA repair activity. APX2009 is neuroprotective against cisplatin and oxaliplatin induced toxicity. APX2009 exhibits potent antitumor activity in neuroblastoma cell lines and 3D spheroid pancreatic tumor model.
