VU0542270 is an inhibitor of sulfonylurea receptor 2B (SUR2B) linked to ATP-sensitive potassium channel Kir6.1 (SUR2B/Kir6.1; IC50 = 0.11 µM).1 It is selective for SUR2B/Kir6.1 over ten other inward-rectifier potassium channels (Kirs; IC50s = >30 µM for all). VU0542270 (10 or 100 µM) induces constriction in isolated mouse ductus arteriosus vessels.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
