Avidinorubicin is a novel anthracycline with platelet aggregation inhibitory activity.
Uses
Avidinorubicin is an antimicrobial agent found in Streptomyces avidinii, exhibiting activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Additionally, Avidinorubicin inhibits thrombin (HY-114164)-induced platelet aggregation, with an IC50 of 7.9 μM[1].
