Bis-PEG2-PFP ester is an amine reactive PEG linker. The two PFP ester moieties can form stable amide bonds and have been found to be very stable because they are less susceptible to undergo hydrolysis. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous envionments. Longer PEG chains tend to have enhanced water solubility properties compared to shorter PEG chains.

Bis-PEG2-PFP ester is also a non-cleavable 2 unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs)[1]. Bis-PEG2-PFP ester is also a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[2].
