Methylone is a cathinone that has been detected in products marketed as bath salts, plant food, and tablets. It acts on components of the monoaminergic systems, similar to MDMA. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.

It is a labelled b-ketone analogue of MDMA (Ecstasy).
