Description
(±)-Methamphetamine-d
9 (hydrochloride) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of (±)-methamphetamine by GC- or LC-MS. Methamphetamine is categorized as an amphetamine and consists of dextrorotary and levorotary enantiomers.
1,2 (+)-Methamphetamine is the more physiologically active isomer compared with (–)-methamphetamine . Methamphetamine is both neurotoxic and frequently abused.
3 (±)-Methamphetamine-d
9 is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
