Riparin III is an alcamide isolated from Aniba riparia that has presented effects of antidepressant and anxiolytic activities in acute stress behavioral models.

Riparin is a nonspecific smooth muscle relaxant. Riparin inhibits CaCl2-induced contractions in a reversible and non-competitive manner and can be used in spasmolytic studies[1].
