2,8-Bis(diphenylphosphoryl)dibenzo[b,d]thiophene (PPT) can be used as an electro-transport material to enhance the efficiency and lifetime of inverted organic light-emitting diodes (iOLEDs), but its performance is lower than 2,8-bis(diphenylphosphoryl)dibenzo[b,d]thiophene sulfone (PPT-S)
[1]. In addition, PPT is also employed in the preparation of organic amorphous films. Research indicates that pure PPT films exhibit negative spontaneous orientational polarisation (SOP), yet this polarity can transition to positive SOP with increasing concentrations of non-polar molecules
