4-Chloro-5-phenyl-7H-pyrrolo [2, 3-d] pyrimidine is a kind of pyrrolopyrimidine deriviative. Pyrrolopyrinmidine derivatives have been shown to exhibit promoting antihyperglycemic activity, being comparable to a well-known standard antihyperglycemic drug, Glimepiride. Pyrrolo [2, 3-d] pyrimidine derivatives have an important role in modern medicine and have shown marked antitumor and antiviral activity.
