BDP 581/591 carboxylic acid is a BDP linker containing a carboxylic acid. The BDP 581/591 is very photostable. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
