Naphthalene-1,3,7-trisulfonic acid [85- 49-4].C10H8O9S3, Mr 368.34, is much less important than the 1,3,5- and 1,3,6-isomers. It is produced by sulfonation of naphthalene-2,6- disulfonic acid with 65 % oleum in sulfuric acid monohydrate.
