Levodropropizine is an antitussive with antiinflammatory activity, the L-isomer of
dropropizine. Compared with the racemate, levodropropizine is reported to have less
sedative potential and better therapeutic index, while maintaining the the same efficacy
levels as an antitussive and antiinflammatory.
