Naloxone-d5 (CRM) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of naloxone . Naloxone is a potent antagonist of the opioid receptors (Ki = 3.7, 9.2, and 33 nM for the μ-, κ-, and δ-opiate receptors, respectively). It is used as an antidote for opioid overdose or for the prevention of overdose.
