9-Desaminoethyl Pixantrone is an isomer of 6-Desaminoethyl Pixantrone (a derivative of Pixantrone which is an antineoplastic drug belonging to group of antitumor antibiotics). 6-Desaminoethyl Pixantrone was used in the evaluation of the cardiac safety of Pixantrone in doxorubicin-treated patients.
