Chemical Properties
yellow crystal, easily decomposed in alkali solution.
Uses
As production regulators, Ethychlozate can be used in citrus, it can prevente fruit drop, promote early maturity and improve quality.
Definition
ChEBI: Ethychlozate is a member of indazoles.
Mechanism of action
Ethychlozate is a hormone-type plant growth regulators. It is released in plants, resulting in abscission and shedding of young fruits. After being sprayed, the agent can be quickly transferred from the leaf surface to the root within a few days, thereby enhancing the physiological activity of the root system. Ethychlozate can improve the metabolism of minerals and water in plants, and fruit quality.
