Azido-PEG12-NHS ester

Description

Azido-PEG12-NHS ester is a PEG derivative containing an azide group and an NHS ester. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules.

Uses

Azido-PEG12-NHS ester ester series of products contain an azide function on one end of a single molecular weight dPEG?? spacer and a reactive group on the other end of the spacer. The dPEG?? spacer is hydrophilic and non-immunogenic and improves the water solubility of the target molecule while reducing the immunogenicity and increasing the hydrodynamic volume of the target.
