(Spondias mombins L.).
Uses

Preparation
By esterification of bera-Hydroxy
caproic acid, which is an isomer of Leucic
acid. The acid can be obtained from Butyraldchyde by condensation with Bromo acetic
ester in presence of Zinc catalyst.
