  USP10 (Ubiquitin specific peptidase 10) is a member of the mammalian ubiquitin-specific peptidase (USP) family. It suppresses the growth of tumor cells by reversing p53 nuclear export and degradation. USP10 acts as an anti-stress factor in response to the viral infections and oxidative stress. It inhibits the production of stress-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) in adult T-cell leukemia (ATL). USP10 stabilizes P53 protein by restricting cell proliferation and growth of cancer cells. It can also trigger the c-Myc transcriptional activity.
