Toxic gases may form with acids, aldehydes, amides, carbamates, cyanides, inorganic fluorides, halogenated organics, isocyanates, ketones, metals, nitrides, peroxides, phenols, epoxides, acyl halides, and strong oxidizing or reducing agents. These nonbenzidine dyes weredeveloped with the hope of replacing benzidine-based dyesthroughout industry.
