matrimony vine (Lycium barbarum) is also known as goji berry, wolfberry. It is credited with astringent, skin-conditioning, anti-oxidant, tonic, and anti-bacterial properties. Constituents include vitamins A, C, and e, and essential fatty acids. In cosmetic preparations, it is either the fruit extract or the seed oil that is used.
