Pipotiazine palmitate(37517-26-3), a long-acting antipsychotic generally administered as an injection and not available as an oral medication, was withdrawn globally in March 2015 in favour of other antipsychotic medications due to a shortage of its active ingredient.
Side effects
Common side effects of Pipotiazine palmitate(37517-26-3) include dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, appetite and weight gain, irritability, and blurred vision. It may cause severe fever, irregular heartbeat, difficulty in urinating, yellowing of the skin or eyes, abnormal bleeding or bruising, and fainting.
