BDP 630/650 amine is a far-red emitting fluorophore. It is found to have longer fluorescence lifetimes in comparison to cyanine dyes and has very good photostability. The addition of the amino group allows for it to be reacted with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and other carbonyl groups.
