Uses
Altromycin F is an anthraquinone-derived antibiotic produced by the actinomycete AB 1246E-26 isolated from a South African bush soil. Altromycin F has antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria, particularly Streptococcus and Staphylococcus, with a microbial inhibitory concentration (MIC) ranging from 0.2-3.12 μg/mL[1].
