SPDP，一种异-双官能试剂，用于结合两种不同的蛋白质，诸如酶和抗体。SPDP首先经由其氨基与一个蛋白质分子反应。SPDP向该蛋白质中引入吡啶二硫基，接着该吡啶二硫基由DTT还原形成硫醇基。这些硫醇基接着与另一蛋白质分子形成二硫键，从而产生异二聚物蛋白质。

The heterobifunctional, crossslinker succinimidyl 3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate (SPDP) enables one to covalently link two target groups. The succinimidyl ester chemically reacts with primary amines and after mild reduction of the dithiol, it can react form a disulfide with other thiols. Crosslinking reagents are useful for probing the spatial relationships and interactions within and between biomolecules.
