First Aid Measures

Ingestion
Get medical aid. Wash mouth out with water.
Inhalation
Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.

Exposure Effects
sensory neuropathy of the hands and feet or mouth and tongue was reported in patients taking paclitaxel or docetaxel. Symptoms include a burning dysesthesia of the feet, numbness, and lancing pain in the back or extremities. Seizures, autonomic neuropathy, motor dysfunction, proximal muscle weakness, and coma have been occasionally described. Optic nerve disturbances have been reported following paclitaxel therapy. Paclitaxel and docetaxel may be maternal and embryo-fetal toxic and are classified as FDA Pregnancy Category D. <br>Breast-feeding is not recommended due to potential risk to the nursing infant.
